Determine the destination
You know your customers, and we know the world. We will work together to determine the best destination for you and your future travelers. As a wholesale tour operator, InterTrav works directly with our travel suppliers, including Hotels, local guides, motor coach companies, restaurants, etc., ensuring we control the quality of all tours.
Choose the number of free places
Let us know if you would like to include free places in your vacation. For example, you can earn one free place with every 25 paying travelers or one free place with every ten paying travelers!
InterTrav will prepare an itinerary
The itinerary will be based on the destination and inclusions you wish to offer. We will provide you with the per-person cost before you make your decision to commit. We personally select and often inspect hotels and service providers.
Revisions
Revisions can be made to achieve the desired vacation – changes in sightseeing, meal inclusions, etc. to provide the best experience to your travelers at the right price.
Determine your level of commission
The commission is added to the tour cost, typically $25 to $300 per person! By creating custom travel products, we are able to provide the best possible price and value so that you can maximize your profit.
Brochures are printed and the promotion begins!
We provide personalized, four-color travel brochures and posters for your promotion. We are here to support any and all promotional efforts – from holding informational meetings to assisting with advertising and web promotion.
Traveler reservations
As reservations begin to flow in, we are happy to handle the tour from reservations to invoicing for final payment through completion. Some clients prefer to handle all or part of the process – the choice is yours!
Why group travel instead of on my own?
Someone to Show You the Way
Every trip has an experienced Tour Manager (TM) who will be with you the entire time you are on tour. The TM takes care of all the behind-the-scenes services from beginning to end.
This includes:
- Checking in at the airport
- Hotel Check in
- Confirming transfers to hotels, airports, cruise ships
- Obtaining tickets for all included attractions
- Meeting with the Local Tour Guides
Cost Savings and Group-Only Access
Almost all attractions, hotels airlines, cruises and restaurants offer a discount for groups, thus saving you money! At these these same venues, groups are given special priority and in some cases, are granted access to sights and experiences that would not otherwise be possible for solo travelers.
Instant Friends
When you travel with a group you instantly have the company of other people who are interested in the same destination as you. Sharing exciting adventures and exploring the unknown with others can make the entire trip fun and more fulfilling. Group travel also provides an opportunity to make some wonderful new friendships!
Expertise
All our our tours are carefully planned so all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy!
Comfort & Safety
Between your tour manager and local tour director, you always have someone watching out for you. In addition, members of the group tend to look after each other. Being part of a group in an unfamiliar place is much more comfortable.
How it Works
A group tour consists of no more than 36 people traveling together to a designated destination and all share a predetermined itinerary. Each tour is a complete package including transportation, accommodations, attractions and sightseeing, some meals and baggage handling.
Travelers attend a Departure Meeting approximately two weeks prior to the scheduled departure date. At this meeting the tour itinerary will be discussed in detail, all of your questions will be answered, and final departure documents will be handed out.
The day of departure you and your travel mates will arrive at the designated location and board the motor coach. You will be transported to the airport, or if your journey is by coach, you will begin your tour. From this point on, I am with you and the group for the duration of the tour, making sure everything goes as planned and no one is left behind.
Every detail has been meticulously planned to provide you with the ultimate experience. From snacks and activities provided on the coach, to group check-in at the airport, meals along the way, and exciting experiences with local experts, it’s all planned for you and part of the package.
On occasion, emergencies arise while a group is traveling – you can rest easy knowing InterTrav staff is available and able to help. InterTrav is in constant contact with our tour escorts while our groups are traveling.
After a wonderful and memorable vacation, your travelers arrive home eager to hear what your next destination will be, and you receive your sales fee check. What a great and enjoyable way to boost your bottom line or raise funds for your favorite cause!
