Who wants to travel for FREE?!

As a group leader, you set your own free place ratio, and travel for free. We will provide you with a quote based on the free place ratio you set.  Our group leaders generally request one free trip for every 20 paid travelers, but it can be set at one free for 15, one free for 10, or whatever fits your needs!

What Does InterTrav Do For You?

From start to finish, we guide you through the group travel experience. You can be as involved as you’d like, or leave all the planning to us. We will provide you with a full color promotional brochure along with registration form, and will handle all invoicing and collection of payment. All travel arrangements – air, hotels, transportation, sightseeing, guides, included meals and anything else to do with your tour, will be handled by InterTrav. We prepare the travel documents for your departure meeting, or send them via mail to your travelers.

What is the Role of the Group Leader?

This depends in large part on what YOU see as your role. Ideally, you will have travelers in mind, or have an idea where your travelers will be coming from to join the tour.

InterTrav is happy to assist with your tour promotion. You will be the point of contact for our office, and for your travelers if they have questions, however anybody is also welcome to contact our office at any time with questions. InterTrav is extremely flexible with the level of involvement our group leaders choose. Should you decide to have a tour promotion meeting, we are happy to assist in any way we can. While on tour, you may need to handle concerns of travelers and call ahead to confirm a service or two.

The level of your involvement depends largely on your comfort level.

Is there a Timeline for planning tours?
We recommend you start planning your tour at least one year in advance. Your travelers will need that much time to plan their budget and their calendars. We will provide you with the promotional brochure indicating final payment due date, which is typically three months prior to departure. This will allow 7-9 months to promote – and sell out! – your tour.

What is the Best Time of Year to Travel?
You should consider three primary factors when planning your travel: crowds, weather, and price…not necessarily in that order!  These factors will of course vary depending upon your destination of choice. Many groups are discovering the benefits of off-season travel, with smaller crowds and lower prices. InterTrav will help you navigate this process to find the best time for your group.
